 UDC1200 Universal Digital Controller 1/16 DIN (48x48 mm)

The UDC1200 is a microprocessor-based 1/16 DIN controller that combines a high degree of functionality and reliability at low cost. It is fully dedicated to monitoring and controlling temperatures, pressures and levels in a wide range of applications such as environmental chambers, furnaces, ovens, packaging machines and other applications in plastics and the food and beverage industries. The small size makes it ideally suited for applications where panel space is at a premium, and where performance and flexibility are also important considerations. The large and easy-to-read dual four-digit display and tactile keypad make the UDC1200 easy to configure and use. Its outstanding flexibility enables you to configure the unit for many applications and change it if required.

  • NEMA3/IP65 – The UDC1200 controller faceplate is rated NEMA3/IP65 protection against windblown dust, rain, snow and sleet.

  • Dual Setpoint – The UDC1200 controller is available with a dual setpoint option. The current setpoint is selected by a digital input.
  • Communication – The UDC1200 controller is available with an optional RS485 communication interface. It provides a link for up to 32 units and a host computer through ASCII or Modbus RTU protocol at up to 19200 baud.

UDC1700 Universal Digital Controller 1/8 DIN (48x96 mm)

UDI1700 Universal Indicator 1/8 DIN (48x96 mm)


The UDI1700 is a 1/8 DIN horizontal panel mounted digital indicator based on the same technology as the UDC1200/1700 low price controllers. The UDI1700 provides accurate indication in demanding applications and is the ideal companion to other Honeywell panel-mounted instruments. A large 14 mm four digit red LED display makes the UDI1700 easy to read from a distance. A separate digit for degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit is also provided. Optional alarm relays and a linear retransmission output is also available.

Features

  • Moisture resistant front face: Meets NEMA 3/IP65 front face protection against dust and water.
  • Universal power supply and input: Can operate on any line voltage from 90Vac to 264Vac at 50/60Hz. A low voltage 24/48Vac/dc solution is also available. All input types like thermocouples, RTDs and linear DC are configurable as standard.
  • Flexibility and commonality: The option boards (alarm relay output, dual-alarm relay and linear output retransmission) are plug-in and autodetected for easy upgrade and low inventory. Furthermore, the unit has no jumpers.

  • Time elapsed: The UDI1700 can also store the time elapsed since the alarm 1 became active. In combination with the above max. and min. features, it provides alarm information for more detailed analysis.
  • Transmitter power supply: Provided as an option on output 3 is 24 Volts DC power for a two-wire transmitter.
  • Configuration: Easy and full configuration with straightforward menu via the instrument front face.
  • PV retransmission: The linear optional output 2 can be used for PV retransmission.

UDC2500 Universal Digital Controller 1/4 DIN (96x96 mm)

Process Instruments Explorer

Honeywell’s Process Instrument Explorer software runs on a pocket PC, desktop or laptop and allows the user to quickly set up and configure UDC2500/3200/3500 controllers. Users can create/edit configurations live or offline via RS-485, Ethernet or infrared communications. It takes only a few seconds to upload or download a configuration to an instrument. Users can save the configuration file for review, modification or archiving. This software also provides important information about the controller’s current operating parameters, digital inputs and alarm status, and identifies internal or analog input problems.
The infrared connection provides a non-intrusive wireless connection with the instrument and maintains NEMA 4X and IP66 integrity without the need to access the back of the controller to communicate with the instrument. Users can duplicate an instruments configuration, upload or download a new configuration in a matter of seconds, just by pointing a pocket PC in the direction of the instrument.

UDC100 Universal Digital Controller 1/4 DIN (96x96 mm)

The UDC100 Universal Digital Controller is a microprocessor-based 1/4 DIN low-cost temperature controller that provides a high degree of flexibility, repeatability, accuracy and temperature stability. Its simple ON-OFF/PID control algorithm with alarm and timer option capability make the UDC100 ideal for such applications as food processing (bakery ovens), small industrial furnaces and ceramics kilns. The DC12N version has two-loop control for excellent space integration and cost saving capabilities.

  • Displays
      - UDC100: One three-digit red display

  • Timer – The UDC10T controller provides a configurable time period fro 0 to 9 hours. The timer is initiated by a key on the front face. An electromechanical relay and a front face LED are activated at the end of the timeout period. The relay is latched and requires manual acknowledgement from the operator.
  • Alarm – One alarm is available with a remote electromechanical relay action. The alarm type can be set on PV high or low, deviation high or low band.

DCP100 Digital Controller Programmer 1/4 DIN (96x96 mm)

The DCP100 is a microprocessor-based 1/4 DIN programmer/controller that combines high functionality and high quality at a very competitive price. It is ideally suited for a large number of applications to control the process variable versus time. Typical applications include heat treating, environmental chambers, sterilizers and dryers. The DCP100 provides excellent accuracy (0.25%), flexibility (plug-in options) and a simple man/machine interface. It can store up to eight programs, and each program can include up to 16 segments. The DCP100 offers the ultimate in profile flexibility and ease-of-use simplicity.

DCP300 Digital Controller Programmer 1/4 DIN (96x96 mm)

The DCP300 is a microprocessor-based 1/4 DIN controller programmer that combines high functionality, quality and reliability at a great price. It supports up to 19 program profiles with up to 30 segments per profile. A universal input accepts thermocouple signals, resistance temperature detector (RTD) signals, DC voltages and DC currents. DCP301 is a single channel programmer with one input and one loop of control, while the DCP302 is a dual channel programmer with two inputs and two loops of control. A temperature and relative humidity calculation model is available on the DCP302.The DCP 300 supports extensive digital I/O functions including three event outputs, five time events (optional), and up to 12 external switch inputs (eight of those are optional). Up to two auxiliary outputs can be added as options on certain models of the DCP301. The DCP302 has one optional auxiliary output available on certain models.

DCP550 Digital Controller Programmer 1/2 DIN (144x144 mm)

The DCP550 series is a microprocessor-based 1/2 DIN controller programmer that combines superior functionality, quality and reliability. The DCP551 single channel unit supports up to 99 program profiles with up to 99 segments per profile, while the DCP552 dual channel unit supports up to 49 dual program profiles with up to 99 segments per profile set. A universal input accepts thermocouple signals, resistance temperature detector (RTD) signals, DC voltages and DC currents. The DCP551 single channel programmer is available with one or two inputs and has one loop of control. The DCP552 is a dual channel programmer with two inputs and two loops of control. A carbon potential model is available on the DCP552.The DCP550 series supports extensive digital I/O functions including 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs. RS-485 ASCII communications and up to two auxiliary outputs can be added as options.

Features

  • Programs/Segments: The DCP550 is capable of storing up to 99 programs with up to 99 segments per program with a maximum overall total of 2,000 segments and 4,000 events.
  • Universal Input: Accepts 37 different ranges of thermocouples, RTDs, current and volt linear inputs. All inputs are configurable as standard. Universal Power Supply: The DCP550 can operate on any line voltage from 90 Vac to 264 Vac at 50/60 Hz continuously.
  • Control Outputs: Available with current, relay or logic outputs and configurable for PID A, PID B, PI, PD, or P+MR. An optional auxiliary 4-20 mA output can be used for heat-cool applications.
  • Event Strategy: Sixteen standard event open collector outputs are available for PV, deviation, controller mode or other state indications, as well as indication of time events and segment number events.
  • PV Start: This function offers the possibility to define setpoint values at the start of each program. It could be either the current controller setpoint value (LSP) or the current process variable value (PV).
